Irrfan Khan is NOT undergoing Ayurvedic treatment for his Neuroendocrine Tumor – read official statement

Irrfan Khan‘s health has been a topic of discussion ever since he revealed on Twitter that he is suffering from a rare disease. The actor asked for some privacy, while he tries to figure out what exacty the disease was, but as always, people had to dig in. Rumours started floating around that he was suffering from Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Grade IV, a deadly brain cancer. However, the actor came out and clarified that he actually had a Neuroendocrine tumor and he was flying out of the country to get some treatment. He again asked for pricvacy, but people continued speculating about the course of action he was taking. From undergoing surgery to Ayurvedic treatment, several reports were floated around. However, Irrfan’s spokesperson has denied all such claims in their latest offical statement.

In fact, recently an ayurvedic doctor – Viadya Balendu Prakash started claiming that he was treating Irrfan. However, the spokesperson vehemently denied these rumours and said that Irrfan Khan is NOT undergoing any Ayurvedic treatment. As the spokesperson revealed, “As suggested by recent news reports, Mr. Khan is not consulting with Vaidya Balendu Prakash. He at one point had contacted him but other than one phone call there has been no conversation or consultation whatsoever. It is unacceptable to be using someone’s illness for your own publicity and personal gain. We just hope that after this statement, the speculations stop and Irrfan is given the privacy he is requesting.
