Hearing a word of appreciation from our very own Superstar Rajinikanth is something higher than bringing back home tons of international acclaims, says Aruvi director Arun Prabhu. The entire team is on cloud nine after Rajinikanth called Arun Prabhu after watching the film at his home. He appreciated the entire team and spoke to the director for nearly 20 minutes saying Aruvi is a film that made him laugh, cry and think about many things in life. “You have a very big future, and this film would be much talked about for years. A great job indeed,” said Rajinikanth. The entire team is exhilarated over this genuine appreciation from Rajinikanth.
While the shows and screens for this film in Tamil Nadu are gradually getting increased with right word of mouth appreciations, this is indeed a great boost for the team, which is fighting for screen time in major theatres. Aruvi topped the Chennai city box office last week, and it will be removed all major theatres from Friday since two significant releases such as Santhanam’s comedy entertainer Sakka Podu Podu Raja and Sivakarthikeyan – Nayanthara’s social drama Velaikkaran will take over. “To all those asking why #Aruvi not released near their places..Small films won’t get screens in advance. Now Christmas weekend won’t have space too. Even in TN, big films will hijack many of its locations. So hurry!!! Only two days more!” posted producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures who bankrolled the project. (ALSO READ – Chennai box office: Aruvi dominates this week, takes on the numero uno position)
